Pawaa Software operates in the sphere of data security. It helps in avoiding enterprise data leaks. The software brings in control some of the information that is circulated within or outside a company.
Very often, information is sent by a user to a trusted recipient via attachments. What happens to these attachments then? These could be circulated all around and may ultimately reach the hands of a user who may modify the data and publish it. The changed data may be against the interests of the actual creator of the documents.
"Paawa has many features that bring a control on attachments. It prevents the attachments being unnecessarily forwarded on gmail platform," explained Prakash Bhaskaran, Chairman, Pawaa Software.
There are standard file formats available for various functions: zip for compression, jpg for images, xls for spreadsheets. However, there wasn't any file format meant for security that addressed multiple business cases. Pawaa Software has solved this issue with the invention of a file format named PawaaFILE. This new file format brings in technological innovations that provide security for file shared via email.
Pawaa has now been integrated with several enterprise applications such as Business Objects, Cognos, Sharepoint, Liferay, SugarCRM and SAP among others.
