Bangalore: National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) organized its 8th edition of the two-day NASSCOM Product Conclave 2011 in Bangalore with the theme Forces@Work. The theme summit provided a perspective of the various internal and external forces that dynamically impact product businesses. It also provides entrepreneurs a forum to discuss these forces and find solutions that will help them accelerate their software product business growth.
NASSCOM also hosted a product LaunchPad, where ten selected product startups unveiled new products.
1. eMee
eMee is game based employee engagement platform software. eMee, developed by Persistent Systems, provides a platform via animation and graphics to showcase the best in the employees, and brings social gaming into the sphere of companies. The software makes employment review easier and interesting. The gaming software gives a complete profile of the employee.
"The gaming takes different forms and depicts the performance and achievements of an employee. For example, one of the games takes you to a house model of an employee, and showcases the awards that the employee has received so far in his career," explained Anand Deshpande, the Chairman of Persistent Systems. In short, eMee may help change the way the organization engages with their employees.
The product was launched by Deshpande at the NASSCOM product conclave here. It has both free and premium versions.
