Reason for Failure: It just couldn’t take-off yet

Most of have grown up dreaming about gaming consoles with goggled head gears and motion sensor gloves, in the 90s. Even though the required technology is available, we rarely here about any progress in the field of virtual reality. Although, Google has come up with Google eye and Microsoft with its Kinect technology, the materialization of the classic virtual reality has not happened yet. We still wait for the day when we would actually be able to be in our games using devices from movies like Matrix or Johnny Quest. In this case, not the Technology, but the idea itself got trashed.
