Reason for Failure: It couldn’t do many things

In early 2000, launched contemporary to what is called the era of cell phones, the advanced version of a digital diary called Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) was becoming the talk of the tech-world. There were many speculations as well anticipations that this device would be the ultimate solution for combining the computer with a cell phone. Alas, it didn’t, and with much to add to people’s agony, it couldn’t make calls or even send messages. On the other, hand it was to be used by the corporate nerds to rather show off in the conference rooms. In the fight to gain position in the common man’s pocket, cell phones stood victorious over the PDA.
