Sachin Tendulkar's 10 Most Memorable ODIs

Sachin Scores 140, Paying Tribute to His Father
India had lost the previous two games to South Africa and Zimbabwe in the 1999 Cricket World Cup. Sachin didn’t play the match against Zimbabwe as he returned to India for his father’s funeral. The Indian team was in dire need for Sachin to come back for the next match. Irrespective of his personal grief, Sachin was at the next match at Bristol and scored 140 against Kenya. India set a target of 330 and won by 94 runs. Sachin’s century was the tribute he paid to his ‘baba.’

Sachin’s First ODI Century
Sachin Tendulkar has scored 49 ODI centuries before he retired from ODIs this year. His first century definitely deserved a recall. He scored his first century in the 1994 Singer World Series against Australia. The master blaster held his position after opening the match inspite of the falling wickets that packed Mohammad Azharuddin, Manoj Prabhakar and Navjot Sidhu. India scored  246 total and Sachin contributed 110, marking his first century in ODI. India won by 31 runs.
