9. “Aaram Haram Hai” (Rest is a Religious Deviation):

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independent India, coined the slogan “Aaram Haram Hai”. Nehru was devoted follower of Mahatma Gandhi and he believed in the tireless effort for the cause of freedom. He worked ceaselessly for achieving freedom and led the country by example. His slogans inspired millions to serve the nation. Nehru thought about the welfare of the country and its people till his last breath.

10. Don’t Pay Tax (During Salt Satyagraha):

“Don’t Pay Tax” is one of the most famous and effective slogans by Indian freedom fighters that emerged during the Namak Satyagraha (Salt Satyagraha). This slogan was a direct action against the salt production monopoly by the British Raj. This agitation was led by Mahatma Gandhi and later culminated into ‘Purna Swaraj’ (Complete Freedom) and ‘Self Rule’ declaration by the INC (Indian National Congress) on 26th January 1930.
