Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela, the first black South African to hold the office of the President, and the first to be elected in a fully democratic election definitely needs a special mention in the list.

Mandela was the main figure during the anti-apartheid movements in the country and served 27 years in prison because of the same. The lengthy prison sentence did deter Mandela. In fact it made him stronger and motivated him to devote his life to unit his mother land. He was successfully in achieving his objective after his release from his prison sentence.

Determination, focus, persistence, and will power are some of the strong points on this renowned leader.

Alexander the Great

Alexander, arguably the greatest conqueror in the history of mankind, was born in 356 B.C. Preached by Aristotle and driven by his desire to capture the entire world, he emerged as one of the greatest military commander to ever set foot on earth. With his extraordinary leadership skills, he successfully led his relatively small army and conquered a large chunk of the world that stretched from the Ionian Sea in the west cost of Greece to the Himalayas. He perished at the age of 33 in 323 BC.
