Dipak C. Jain: A global marketing scholar with nearly three decades of research and teaching experience, Dipak Jain became the INSEAD Professor of Marketing on March 1, 2013. Based in Fontainebleau, France, he had served as the dean of INSEAD since his appointment on May 1, 2011.

Jain has been successful in bringing extensive insights as an educator and senior business school administrator. He served as a dean of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management from 2001-2009 and had been a member of that faculty panel since 1986. Jain also served as foreign affairs advisor to the Prime Minister of Thailand and as a consultant to some renowned companies, such as Microsoft and America Express. He has been part of the Board of Director for several global companies, including Northern Trust, Deere, United Airlines and Indian origin Reliance Industries. Jain has bagged several honors for teaching and research. He was recognized by his home country India for his exceptional contributions in 2004, where he received the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, an annual award given by the country’s Prime Minister.
