India's Most Eligible Bachelor Politicians

Agatha Sangma:
Agatha Sangma is a Member of Parliament (MP), and part of the 15th Lok Sabha. She represents the Tura constituency of Meghalaya subsequent to the 2009 parliamentary election as a candidate of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). She was also the youngest Minister of State in the UPA 2nd Manmohan Singh Cabinet. She is the daughter of P.A. Sangma, a well-known politician from Meghalaya and former speaker of the lower house of parliament.  Agatha received her LLB degree from Pune University and later joined the bar in Delhi High Court. She has a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Nottingham University, United Kingdom. With a demeanor like hers and being one of the youngest women politicians, Agatha certainly is an eligible spinster on the list.

She was former minister of state for Rural Development and resigned from the post during the cabinet reshuffle in October last year.  Agatha is an environmentalist and also an amateur photographer.
