Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City of India is the capital and largest city of Rajasthan. It is a centre for both traditional and modern industries. This city is famous as a large exporter of gold, diamond and stone jewellery in Asia. In 2008, Jaipur was ranked 31 among the 50 Emerging Global Outsourcing cities. The Pink City, with well connected road, rail and air to all domestic destinations, has been named as the seventh best tourist destination in Asia, according to a survey conducted by travel magazine Conde Nast Traveller.

3. Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh:

Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh is a major market and trading place in northern India and an emerging hub for producers of goods and services. The city is a perfect blend of old culture and modern facilities. It is also politically important as there are two Lok Sabha constituencies, Lucknow and Mohanlalganj, and nine Vidhan Sabha constituencies. Lucknow has one of the fastest growing property rates in almost all the areas due to redevelopment of several areas like Gomtinagar and Alambagh by the present government. Reputed educational institutions like Indian Institute of Management, Central Drug Research Institute, , Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) and King George Medical College are located in this city.
