3) Jaishankar Ganesh -
Jaishankar Ganesh has been announced as the next Dean of Rutgers School of Business–Camden. His appointment will be official from August 1 of this year. Ganesh is presently the Associate Dean for Administration and Executive Education at the University of Central Florida’s College of Business Administration. He received his Ph.D. in Marketing and International Business from the University of Houston, from where he also got his MBA degree. Ganesh got his bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Loyola Autonomous College, Madras. He got his 2nd degree in Instrument Technology from the Madras Institute of Technology. He was also an engineer at HCL India. He is the first Dean at Camden of an Indian decent. He will be developing the administrative and academic operations at Camden. He has been pivotal in the re-accreditation of the school’s AACSB. His field of interest is Marketing Management and International Marketing, focusing on satisfaction of customers, retailer behaviour and cross-national diffusion of items. He has written a number of research papers, like - the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and Journal of International Marketing. He is an active member of various social organizations like - Greater Orlando Heart Walk, Junior Achievement of Central Florida and Small Business Executive Advisory Board.
