4) G. ‘Anand’ Anandalingam -

Anand Anandalingam is the Dean of the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Anandalingam did his BA and MA from Cambridge University and an M.S. and Ph.D. from Harvard University. He was also a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a professor at the National Center of Resource and Technology Management and also in Wharton School and Engineering School. He was the Chairman of Department of Systems Engineering and directed the Executive Master’s Program in Technology Management. He was also the Chairman and Senior Associate Dean at Smith School’s Decision, Operations and Information Technologies department. Anandalingam was instrumental in revamping and innovating the MBA programmes at Smith’s. He also helped in generating Center for Social Value Creation (CSCV), Center on Financial Policy (CFP), Center for Digital Thought and Strategy, Center for Leadership, Innovation and Change (CLIC) and Center on Health Information and Decision Systems (CHIDS). He was the recipient of fellowships, scholarships and endowed appointments at Cambridge, Harvard and Pennysylvania. He has also been on the editorial teams of top global journals. According to Anandalingam sustainable innovation is the key to solve problems of the society and the economy. His global programmes are aimed at catering to not only financial but environmental and social needs as well.
