2) Nitin Nohria -

Nitin Nohria is the present Dean of Harvard Business School (HBS). He is the George F. Baker Professor of Business Administration and Co-Chairman of HBS Leadership Initiative and is on the executive committee of the University's interfaculty initiative. He has been on the board of HBS from 1998 to 2002, senior associate dean for faculty development from 2006 to 2009 and Director of the research dept from 2003 to 2004. He also was a visiting faculty member at London Business School in 1996. Nohria co-founded ‘The Smart Manager’, Nohria completed his graduation from St. Columba's School in New Delhi, a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT (B) and a Ph.D. in Management from MIT Sloan School of Management. His field of specialization at HBS is "Leadership and Organizational Behavior" He is currently working for the World Economic Forum, in association with HBS professor, Rakesh Khurana, to develop an MBA Oath. This endeavour of Nohria has been stated to deliver great value to the personal and professional spheres of people. He has authored, co-authored and co-edited various books like - Handbook of Leadership Theory and Practice, Entrepreneurs, Managers, and Leaders: What the Airline Industry Can Teach Us About Leadership, Paths to Power: How Insiders and Outsiders Shaped American Business Leadership, In Their Time and many more insightful articles and books. As the Dean of HBS, he wants to rethink and reshape business school administration. His appointment as the HBS Dean has allayed the racial remarks about HBS.
