Startup Genome, based on various researches recently listed out the best places in the world to start a startup and deservingly Bangalore has cushioned itself in the 19th position pushing down various other startup hubs like Santiago. For those who didn’t get a chance to read the report especially the part of it focusing on Bangalore, here is a snippet to quickly derive at a strong conclusion.

1)Bangalore startups are 24 percent more likely to monetize directly than Silicon Valley startups.

2)There is similar motivation in Bangalore to Silicon Valley: 56 percent of entrepreneurs in Bangalore are motivated by building a great product, and 30 percent are motivated by trying to change the world. In Bangalore, entrepreneurs do not seek to change or clone already proven business models.

3)There is an overall funding gap, with 74 percent less funding raised in Bangalore compared to Silicon Valley.
