Google CEO: Facebook is doing a "Really Bad Job"

Bangalore: In an interview conducted by the magazine Wired, which was taken before Facebook launched its new Graph Search tool, Google CEO Larry Page said rival Facebook is doing “a really bad job on their products.” However, he did not elaborate to confirm which products he was referring to, and is only left up to one’s imagination.

The Google CEO has acknowledged that Facebook is strong in the domain of social media and he added that he is happy with how Google + is faring. But Google+ has not made its mark so far in the social media space and does not have the kind of data Facebook holds. However, according to Page, Google and Facebook can co-exist, one company does not need to fail for the other to succeed. “We're actually doing something different. I think it's outrageous to say that there's only space for one company in these areas."

Meanwhile the Tech giant has purchased a 2.4 acre plot at the Kings Cross Central development in London and plans to build a 1 million square foot office. Construction on the site is expected to start later this year and end at 2016 when Google would leave its current offices at Victoria and Holborn districts.
