Digital Photo And Video Trends That Will Rock CES 2014


On the flipside, YouTube has announced its demonstration of high-definition video streams at the Consumer Electronics Show. This year, high-resolution is back in form as we begin to see the emergence of consumer 4K models. YouTube has fallen into this enormous 4K ring and it plans to incorporate the new video format which could be advantageous. It would allow YouTube to transmit high-definition, 4K quality streams without slowing down one’s network.

Google is working on ensuring that VP9 enjoys broad adoption, whose demo partners include Sony, Panasonic, and LG, that will boast high definition streams on 4K televisions at their CES booths. However, Google also has enlisted a variety of hardware and software partners to commit to VP9, that include ARM, Broadcom, Samsung, Nvidia, Mozilla, Qualcomm, Marvell, and Toshiba.

As for the rest of the tech, Samsung is likely to unveil its latest and greatest television sets’ cameras, home appliances and laptops at the CES 2014. It plans to make public a new member of its family called the 105-inch curved Ultra HD TV which the company terms to be the "world's most curved" TV with a rounded screen packed with 11 million pixel (5120 x 2160) resolution.
