This tiny new device will be a little bigger than 1Re coin and currently costs about $20. It syncs with Smartphone and supports gesture control. In case the user misplaces Gecko, it can be found by signaling it to make a beep sound through the Smartphone. And in case the Smartphone itself gets misplace, call can be made to the Smartphone through Gecko. Gecko can also detect intrusion and alerts the user in it gets moved out of a certain range from the Smartphone.

"There are others around the world who are working on such a product, but we are perhaps the first to commercialize it," said Kumar. Connovate Technology has signed a contract with a Chinese manufacturer and is expected to release the mass-produced product from December.
