Silbermann was working with Google; he later quit this giant to find another popular company called ‘Pinterest’.  He had various false starts but later with the help of his co-founders he began to gain some traction with this picture collection site. This photo sharing web portal has 20 million monthly unique visitors, it is also known to be the top social media traffic driver. Pinterest has raised $138 million at $1.5 billion valuation.

Drew Houston

Founder and CEO of: Dropbox

Age: 29

Drew Houston co-founded Dropbox in 2007; it was launched at Y Combinator Demo Day. Since then, the tech giant Apple Inc. had offered to acquire this company but Houston opted to keep building his business. The idea of this website generated when the founder repeatedly forgot his USB flash drive when he was MIT student. It is reported that the company had generated $240 million in revenue last year and is currently worth $4 billion.
