Kevin Systrom founded Instagram in 2010 with his 25 year old co-founder Mike Krieger. Prior to this Systrom worked with Twitter and also spent two years in Google developing products on Gmail, Google Reader, he also worked in its product development team.  He had a passion for social products and also photography which ended up in creating ‘Instagram’. It has become the most popular mobile photo app and it currently has 80 million users. This company was acquired by Facebook for $1 billion in April 2012.

Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg is one of the youngest billionaires in the world but only second to his Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz. He launched this website as a student directory in 2004, when he was at the Harvard University, from his dorm room. Probably it is because of him the entire concept of ‘startup’ grew to fame. The company went IPO with 955 million users, as of June 2012 and it is also recorded to have about $4 billion as revenue per year.
