Car Of The Week: Mercedes-Benz A-Class

Interior:

The interior of A Class is well defined by a single word; “elegant.” The sturdy and the plush interiors are a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The air vents styled like SLS AMG, the screen for Merc’s COMAND interface, the three spoke steering wheel with controls add to the sporty and elegant feel. Being a rare Mercedes-Benz meant for drivers rather than the passengers, the front seats gets more benefits, while the slopping roof may give a cooped-up feeling for some.

Engine:

A Class comes both in diesel and petrol variants. While the petrol version, A 180 Sport comes in 1.6 litre, 4 cylinder engine, the diesel model, A 180 CDI sports a 2.2 litre, 4 cylinder engine with streamlined aerodynamic design.

Both the models are equipped with 7G-DCT automated 7 speed dual clutch transmission, 11-drive assistance systems, direct-injection turbocharger technology, 14.7 cm infotainment display system, and multifunctional sporty steering wheels with paddle shifts.
