9 Things That Make Apple Products "Complicated"

#4 Fused displays

The display in Apple devices are fused, so it is virtually impossible to repair it. Thus, if  the display breaks, even if it’s minute, the whole screen has to be replaced. The repair becomes very expensive which otherwise would been cheap and simple, if only the broken part in the screen was to be fixed.

#3 One-piece displays

As if fused display was not enough,  Apple came up with one-piece displays, which fuses front glass, digitizer, and screen into a single component. Though this makes iPad and iPhone look sleeker, but at the same time the repair cost sky rockets.

#2 Soldered battery

If  gluing battery to other components makes the repairs tricky, then here’s the next step that  Apple took which makes repairing  trickier. Apple along with gluing solders the battery pack to the logic board, making the simple task of replacing the pack more complex, something which may seek surgical expertise.

#1 Soldering connectors onto the logic board

Using cables to connect the components inside the device may eat up the space. Apple came up with ingenious expertise like this in its 7th generation iPad Nano; battery, Lightning connector, Button cable, and headphone jack are all soldered to the logic board. This means that if ever the connector gets damaged, the whole board has to be replaced, making the repair cost shoot.
