Born January 22, 1956, Wilmington, Delaware, Ellen Kullman is an American business executive. She is President, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company ("DuPont") in Wilmington and a former director of General Motors. In 2011 she was ranked 4th in the list of 100 Most Powerful Women.

Ellen is the mother to one daughter and two sons and strongly believes in the potential of women. “I look at engineering schools today and they enroll 20 to 30 percent women as opposed to there just being three of us when I attended”, said Ellen.

3. Sherilyn McCoy
CEO of Avon, Scientist
Children: Three Sons

Sherilyn S. McCoy is the chief executive officer of Avon Products and former executive of Johnson & Johnson. McCoy started working for Johnson & Johnson as a personal products scientist in 1982 and was there for 30 years. She was named CEO of Avon in April 2012.

Wall Street Journal reported, she “embarked on an ambitious turnaround plan that includes wringing out $400 million in costs, sharply increasing sales and almost doubling operating margins within three years.”

In 2012 she was ranked as the 39th most powerful women by Forbes.
