4.Pichola Lake
Pichola Lake is one of the most beautiful manmade freshwater lakes of Rajasthan's Udaipur city. The lake was built during the rule of Maharana Lakha.
The lake provides for an enchanting sight and is a well known tourist destination. It is surrounded by lofty palaces, temples, bathing ghats and hills on all sides. Machhala Magra hill is located on its southern part. From here one can catch a glimpse of the Ekklingarh Fort. The City Palace broadens along eastern side lake of the lake. The lake has a number of islands and the world renowned Lake Palace is located on its Jag island. Moreover, visiting all these places will be incomplete without a boat ride on the lake.
Pichola lake can be reached by tongas, buses and taxis from Udaipur city.
