4. Online activities Indian would miss if internet is denied

Of all other activities online Indians would miss doing work related activities the most (71 percent) without the internet connection. Second comes connecting and socializing with friends and family (51 percent), convenience of everyday living (43 percent) is the third activity which online Indians will miss if denied the internet.

5. Aware of internet security

Online Indians know they need online protection and also have basic awareness about cybercrime and online threats. However, 60 percent of Indians believe that a basic security solution or antivirus is needed for internet usage.

78 percent of online Indians are ready to give up $1 million than permit strangers to access their personal information online. 96 percent says they need online security protection for protecting personal information, protect privacy and block malware or viruses while downloading.
