Yash Chopa the ‘Emperor of Romance’ departed on October 21, 2012. Yash chopra epitomized romance in Indian cinema that it felt more real on screen then in life. He truly transformed the idea of falling in love to be a natural act however geting beaten by fate and reality being just the part and parcel of it.  Yash Chopra began his career working with I.S. Johar and his elder brother as an assistant director. With ‘Dhool Ka Phool ‘he made his directorial debut in 1959, followed by ‘Dharmputra’ in 1961. The success of these movies was just the beginning of a new trend in India. Yash Chopra along with his brother went on to make the best movies which are most remembered in Indian cinema. With movies like Deewar, Silsila, Daag, Khabi Kabhie, Daar, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, he coloured every era with the idea of romance and left the Indian audience asking for more. His departure is a great loss to the Indian film Industry.
