Second on the list of leaders most admired by global CEOs is the co-founder of Apple and ‘visionary’ - Steve Jobs. Jobs was named by CEOs in 37 countries. The leadership quality that CEOs most admire about him was that Jobs was an innovator. Jobs once said “Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.”

Jobs is known for his influence in the technology and music industry. He has been referred to as "legendary", a "futurist" and has been described as the "Father of the Digital Revolution" and a "master of innovation."He has also received a number of honors and public recognition.

Mahatma Gandhi:
Mahatma Gandhi takes the third place on the list and was named by CEOs across the world.
Categorized under leaders who caught the imagination of the masses and a peacemaker, Mahatma Gandhi is one of the most admired leaders of the world, as per the survey.

The survey report said CEOs need role models to show the way through challenging times, to have solutions to problems, and lead responsibly amid declining trust in private and public sector institutions.
