Floyd Cardoz

Cardoz is a distinguished Chef, cookbook author and winner of Bravos’ Top Chef Masters in the thord season. He is the Executive Chef of Tabla, an innovative restaurant which provides new Indian food prepared using the sensual taste and spices of India. According to him, “good food and cooking are not only about how good the food looks and tastes, but also how good it makes you feel cooking it; how good it makes the guests feel who are eating it.”

Cardoz along with famous restaurateur Danny Meyer and Chef Michael Romano started Tabla in the year 1998. The restaurant turned out to be big success, winning the hearts of thousands in a short period of time.

Floyd Cardoz holds a degree in Hospitality Management from Bombay and he has also worked as a chef trainee at Taj Group of Hotels, before moving on to Switzerland and then America.
