The co-founder, co-chairman of The B Team and founder of the Virgin Group, Richard Branson believes that the business and the social sector should come forward and work together to address the great challenges the world is facing today.

In an email exchange, Branson talked about Plan B for businesses. The e-mail read, “Our ultimate goal is to help transform the way business defines success and to be a catalyst for a "Plan B” to place environmental and social well-being alongside the pursuit of profit. The founder of the group, Zhang Yue Broad is one of the most famed people in China, mainly known for his philanthropy about environmental problems. Zhang has argued for tighter regulations, especially on building standards, energy efficiency and decentralized power.

Facing the issue of global warming, Zhang Yue’s dream is that his non-electric air conditioning can replace its electric counterpart, as non electric air conditioning is more than twice as energy efficient as electric air conditioning.
