10. Meher Pudumjee
Ex-Chairperson, Thermax

Meher Pudumjee, daughter of Anu Aga, Ex-Chairperson of the Thermax, succeeded her mother Chairperson of a Pune based company Thermax since October 5, 2004. Thermax is an Indian energy and environment engineering. Thermax successfully named itself in the Forbes' list of Asia's Best under a Billion, under her management.

At present she is Independent Non-Executive Director for Crompton Greaves. She is a Master Degree holder in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College of Science & Technology, London. She joined her Thermax as a trainee engineer. Within a time span of one year, she started managing the company’s subsidiaries in U.K. later in 2006, she was appointed as a member of Board of Directors of Thermax. She also served there as a Member of Share Transfer & Shareholders Grievance Committee and Member of Strategic Business Development Committee for a while. Meher Pudumjee is not only ruling the roost in her career but also is an example of perfect wife and mother.
