As one would expect from an internet browser built on Google’s own browser, RockMelt has top-notch security features designed to keep your computer safe while browsing. The browser protects against dangerous phishing schemes and blocks harmful malware from installing on your computer but the browser is not exactly what one would call “user friendly” as its interface needs better designing and organization.

#6 Maxthon 3

+ve: Maxthon allows you to customize the skin and toolbar of the interface.

-ve: It lacks supplementary features such as parental controls, voice interaction commands and spell check.

Maxthon boasts powerful security features that allow you to surf the web securely and privately, if you choose. You can delete all traces of your browsing manually or you can set it up to delete automatically when you close the browser. The internet browser also blocks pop-ups, spyware and viruses, and utilizes anti-phishing technology to intercept phishing schemes trying to steal your personal information. Maxthon doesn’t have any of the more superfluous browsing features we look for, including spell check, parental controls or voice interaction. The inclusion of these features would enhance the overall usability of the browser as they are essential today.
