World’s super power nation, United States of America is among the country with the highest rates of crime like rape. Males are majorly the rapist holding a proportion of 99 percent. Out of all the victims, 91 percent are females while 9 percent are males. Surprisingly, only 16 percent of the total cases are reported. Rape inside four walls is common in the U.S. than outdoor. Girls in the villages are at risk more than those living in populated cities. Almost the quarter of the girls at the age of 14 are reported to be raped victims. It has been reported that the lady officers in U.S. army also do not feel safe as they are sexually assaulted even at the fields. More than 89,241 rape cases were reported. Criminals face life imprisonment, and in some states, castration is an option.
