South Sudan
South Sudan is landlocked country in the east- central African region of northeastern Africa. It has been in war with at least seven armed groups in nine states. The fighters accused the government of plotting to stay in power not fairly representing and supporting all the tribal groups and also neglecting the development in rural areas. Joseph Kony operates in a wide area and also in South Sudan. In 2012, the forces from South Sudan seized the Heglig oil field which was claimed by both Sudan and South Sudan after the conflict with the forces in the Sudanese state of Unity.
