Apple unveiled the iPhone on June 29, 2007 and it was certainly one of the most significant moments in Apple’s journey. It could be better termed as the Invention of a Life time and was welcomed with long queues outside Apple stores and admiring reviews. The phone-music player-pocket computer sold some 1.4 million units by September 30 in the same year. A year later, the iPhone 3G was released at $199 which seemd to be a value proposition and made sense to everyone. Every model of iPhone, including iPhone 5 which was launched this year starts at the same price, as long as a new two-year contract is signed with a mobile phone service provider.

iPad

iPad, Apple’s media tablet was introduced on January 27^th, 2010 running a modified version of iOS. The iPad has become Apple’s fastest-selling new product and it offers multi-touch access to newspapers, magazines, ebooks, textbooks, photos, movies, TV shows, videos, music, word processing documents, spreadsheets, video games and most exciting iPhone apps.
