Why it is at fault: The well-known entity in the world of technology, Apple was once a flopped PC manufacturer trying to survive in a market that was solely ruled by Microsoft. But after its launch of iPhone and iPad, it regained its market share and today is one of the highest grossing companies in the sector. But its inventions have lead to the concept of BYOD trending in the enterprise because of which companies have lost control over the type of devices that an employee can bring to workplace.
Who is Impacted Negative: Almost everyone including Microsoft, HP, Dell, and other software companies.
Who is Impacted Positive: iOS app developers and other cloud vendors that assist in implementing BYOD.

7. Google
Core Operation: Manages search engine, email service provider etc.
Why it is at fault: Google’s enterprise business is based on the promotion of its cloud service that is amazingly fast and cost effective. Other products from Google that challenge rivals are Google Apps in place of Microsoft Office, Google Maps in place of Geospatial services etc.
Who is Impacted Negative: The major dent is experienced by Microsoft that has lost a majority of its business because of Google. Also Amazon, HP etc suffer.
