However, the board has nodded for approval in one condition that such kind of micro apartments cannot accommodate more than two people.

Around 375 micro apartment units are to come up in San Francisco which in turn will help the affordable housing segment as the rental amount of an average studio apartment in San Francisco is around $ 2000 per month. However, the rental amount of these smallest apartments will cost around $1200 to $1500 per month.
