O3+ Founder Vineet Kapur Buys Rs 72-Crore Bungalow in South Delhi's Vasant Vihar

 

In another big realty deal in the luxury realty market of South Delhi, Vineet Kapur, the Founder of homegrown O3+ Cosmetics, and his wife Sonia Kapur acquired a luxurious bungalow in the posh Vasant Vihar locality for Rs 72 crore. The high-profile transaction, which was registered on April 3, 2025, indicates growing demand for high-end properties in one of the most sought-after localities in Delhi.

 

The large plot of land, situated at House No. F-9/6 in Vasant Vihar, measures around 6,160 sq. ft. and was bought from Dilip Pathak. The transaction drew a stamp duty of Rs 1.8 crore, according to official documents retrieved by real estate analytics company CRE Matrix.

 

This transaction follows closely on the heels of another headline-grabbing deal in the area, where Eleannt Enterprises acquired a 1,280-square yard plot for Rs 95 crore earlier this month. The company reportedly paid Rs 6.65 crore in stamp duty and other statutory charges, underlining the rising costs and competition in South Delhi’s luxury property segment.

 

Vasant Vihar has always been one of the most sought-after places for high-net-worth individuals, business tycoons, and foreign envoys. Due to limited land availability, real estate in this location is often sought out by developers wanting to build multi-story boutique homes. Due to the lack of such plots, deals above Rs 50 crore are few and far between.

 

The trend is not limited to Vasant Vihar alone. In the first half of the year, Golden Growth Fund (GGF) purchased a large plot in Neeti Bagh with a plan to make Rs 100 crore from the sale of luxury apartments aimed at HNI and UHNI buyers.

 

South Delhi, with about 18,500 private residential plots graded as A, B, C and others by the MCD, is worth a total of an estimated Rs 5.65 lakh crore. Category A plots are selling at Rs 7–15 lakh per sq. yard and Category B plots at Rs 6–12 lakh per sq. yard.
