- NAR India and UCO partner to introduce India’s first MLS platform.
- Pilot project starts in Mumbai, aiming to boost transparency and professionalism.
- Collaboration bridges U.S. and Indian real estate markets for global investors.
Mumbai based NAR India has teamed up with Universal Consulting Opportunities (UCO), part of Stellar MLS in the U.S., to launch India’s first Multiple Listing Service (MLS) pilot in Mumbai. This historic partnership aims to bring greater transparency, structured data, and professionalism to India’s real estate sector, valued at $1 trillion and expected to grow by 2030.
The new MLS platform will offer a tech driven solution to connect agents, brokers, developers, and buyers with reliable and up-to-date market information. Mumbai, often compared to New York for its economic scale, is the ideal starting point for this modern system. The initiative will eventually expand nationwide, setting new standards across India’s property market.
India’s vast population, widespread internet access, and advanced digital payment systems make it ready to adopt a data-centric, global real estate model. NAR India, representing over 50,000 real estate professionals, brings deep local knowledge, while UCO contributes its experience running one of the largest MLS platforms in the U.S.

This collaboration also strengthens ties between the two countries’ real estate markets. Indian buyers are among the top foreign investors in the U.S., and Non-Resident Indians continue to play a major role in India’s property market. The MLS partnership will enhance trust, simplify transactions, and provide valuable insights for buyers and sellers on both sides.
