- Premium housing demand drives growth outlook
Godrej Properties has posted a strong start in Hyderabad, clocking over Rs 2,600 crore in home sales within its first year of operations in the city. The performance highlights the company’s growing confidence in the Hyderabad housing market, which it sees as a key growth hub.
The real estate major entered Hyderabad in January this year with the launch of its first residential project in Kokapet. A second project followed in the July-September quarter. According to Executive Chairperson Pirojsha Godrej, the combined response to these two projects helped the company achieve more than Rs 2,600 crore in sales bookings during its first calendar year in the city.
Pirojsha said Hyderabad offers significant growth potential, especially for premium and luxury housing, prompting the company to expand its footprint further. Riding on the strong demand, Godrej Properties is actively scouting for new land parcels in the city.
Recently, the company won a bid to acquire a five-acre land parcel in Neopolis, Kokapet, through an e-auction conducted by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority. The upcoming premium residential project on this site is expected to offer around 2.5 million square feet of saleable area with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 4,150 crore. Earlier, in August, the company also acquired 7.825 acres in Kukatpally, strengthening its land bank in Hyderabad.

For the full year, Godrej Properties is targeting Rs 32,500 crore in sales bookings and plans to add Rs 30,000 crore in future revenue potential through land acquisitions and joint development deals, supported by strong housing demand across key cities.
