  • Godrej Properties buys 5-acre land in Hyderabad for a premium housing project worth Rs 4,150 crore.
  • The developer has already sold Rs 2,600 crore worth of homes in the city this year.
  • The company continues aggressive land acquisitions to meet its Rs 32,500 crore FY sales target.

Godrej Properties has strengthened its presence in Hyderabad with the purchase of a 5 acre land parcel in Neopolis, Kokapet, where it plans to develop a premium residential project valued at Rs 4,150 crore. The company secured the land through an e-auction conducted by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), emerging as the highest bidder on the MSTC e-tendering platform. The allotment letters will be issued after the formal process is completed.

The upcoming project will offer 2.5 million sq. ft. of saleable area, aimed at meeting the rising demand for high-quality housing in the city. This acquisition marks Godrej Properties’ continued expansion in Hyderabad, following its purchase of a 7.8 acre parcel in Kukatpally earlier this year. After entering the market, the developer has launched two projects and has already clocked Rs 2,600 crore in sales from these developments in 2024.

Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO of Godrej Properties, said Hyderabad’s strong infrastructure growth and sustained demand make it a high-potential market. He emphasized the company’s commitment to scaling its presence through strategic land buys and differentiated residential offerings.

This fiscal, Godrej Properties has been actively acquiring land across major cities, adding more than Rs 20,000 crore in revenue potential. The developer is pursuing both outright land purchases and joint development agreements (JDAs) to fuel its pipeline.
