8 Beautiful Houses Built on Dangerous Cliffs

Bajina Basta, Serbia: A large number of tourist have been attracted to this mysterious house that stand alone on a rock in the middle of River Drina in Serbia. The house was built by a group of boys who wanted a place to sunbath. Obviously lying on a hard rock would not be comfortable, so they brought some wooden boards from a nearby shed to build the house. The materials for the house were brought by boats and the bigger pieces were left to float in the river till they hit the rock. Although this house recently got its fame, it has been there for more than 40 years, even though it was almost destroyed by the natural disasters. This house became famous in 2012 because it was featured in the National Geographic magazine and won the “Photo of the Day” for the month of August.
