Journeying With My Young Team

We have a very young team and it is consciously maintained like that probably for their creative and energetic inputs from a fresh perspective. We have a 45 member team and I must admit that only a couple of them are older than me. The entire team is passionate about app development and nobody is scared to experiment with new things as complete freedom is given. Right from striking a project until uploading it to the App store can be single-handedly completed by our developer.

Ignorance of these kids in my team helps as they are not aware of anything bigger and a responsibility given is easily accomplished by them wholeheartedly assuming it to be a small bit. The entire team is very supportive, energetic and passionate.

What We Aim at Divum
When an app is generally made, there is a plan involved in it, it is termed as "No Geography – No Gender", and best example would be games like 'angry birds' and 'temple run' which were massive hits since it targeted the entire world.  In this busy world, we cannot complain or say that people don't have leisure as 60% of the market share still remains with games.
Aiming is done as per the requirement. We develop apps that are needed the most be it for corporate or a kid. There are apps that can sometimes push a company to the top with minimal functions and we together develop all of it. We have made many apps for Apple, Blackberry, and Symbian etc. Scanning opportunities to make things easier is the key move for an app development company.
Books I Solemnly Recommend
I read only when I travel but I love reading inspirational books and one such book which inspired me recently was "Game Changers", this book talks about entrepreneurial and leadership skills in a different and catchy manner. I found it to be really encouraging and I can recommend it to the new crowd.
‘Divum’ and Its Future Plans
We are passionate and we would want to continue being like that, planning to be in the edge[e1]  of technology, diversification within our limits is happily explored, we develop automobile controllers, custom controllers, software and hardware for our software, we have been constantly working to push mobile technology into a different space altogether by show casing our creative and wonderful products.

It has been 3 years in business and we were constantly working for a neat portfolio for ourselves. This has also been a very successful year and we have plans to open up in terms of mergers or acquisitions. We are fine tuning ourselves for such a venture.

My Word, For Budding Developers

Never be afraid to start anything, this is the best time in India for this genre of business and the development of the nation can also be slowly achieved with budding developers coming this way. Incubation centers are always open for new ideas and today there is complete support from home as well. The best thing is everybody understands entrepreneurship well, VC's, families, investors, friends and people which makes things simpler and competitive. Open  yourself up to ideas .  I call it the best 'Era' in India.
