Thoughts on Education system of our country
Indian education system is "outdated", period!! Our academics are totally out of sync with the current industry needs. 50% of our graduates are "non-employable" as per NDTV survey. Our students severely lack "soft skills" and "industry applicable technical skills". Part of the problem is that the "cream of the past generation" are either in IT industry or in abroad. So, the teaching staff are the residual talent. Added to that our curriculum and teaching methodologies are very much out dated. First of all, the students need to be trained on soft skills. They should be given an outlook of "industry requirements" and then they need to be trained on "advanced technologies". Most importantly all these tasks need to be done by Industry experts, not teachers or trainers. Career-Analytics has originated to do this exact task. To fill the gap between students and professionals. To offer career help on demand.
My family background
From Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India. Father - officer in BSNL. Mother house wife, writer in local magazines. Brother - Charted Accountant in banglore. Wife - ETL professional in Bay area, California.
Important lesson learned
Career management is no longer trivial. Need a constant source of information to plan and execute the career. Need a holistic overview about career management. Need 1:1 consultation with an expert before taking any career decisions.

(1) Barack Obama - fought the biggest battle in US political history. Ever dynamic and cheerful.
(2) Steve Jobs - daring enough to declare that "the customers don't know what they want until you show it to them" and proved it through the Apple products
(3) M.S Dhoni - Demystified the art of victory and made it look so scientific but simple.

Inspire the team and get inspired by them. Identify the skill in each person and harness it to the best result. Winning attitude coupled with a smile always helps!!

PMP, CSM - very valuable. Certifications are always very helpful to give you the needed confidence and edge in your area of domains. Always wanted to get the "Supply chain master" certification but could not make it happen.
Important decision
Set goals for not continue as a developer/analyst after certain point of time. Understood the dynamics of the markets in US and India and started selling myself into Project manager and program manager. Followed my passion of owning something of my own. Started, thus fulfilling the passion of mentoring students and professionals.
