Family Background

I belong to a upper middle class family. My dad was in Railway working as an accountant. Mom was a home maker. Thanks to dads profile, we spent time in almost all the states of India during our childhood. We have been brought up with a blend of bengali cuture and rich Indian traditions.

Contribution to the field

BI is core to Saama’s business, not only from a technical perspective (developers, testers, analysts), but also from a cultural perspective. We have a strong technically advanced and socially conscious culture, an excellent work environment.

Workplace culture plays a far greater role in performance and productivity than gender. Given the right environment, woman can bring the right blend of hard work and emotional quotient.

I have seven years of experience in BI Consultancy,Project Management,Business Analysis across various domains like Life Sciences,Investment Banking,Insurance,ESS,Telecom.I am a regular blogger, a trianed Kirana Gharana Singer.Other hobbies are photography, cooking and writing.

Opinion on women leaders:

Women leaders are elevating the definition of leadership and vision towards a new epoch. Women leaders, whose values, sensibilities and intuitive work styles infuse a higher capacity to cultivate trusting relationships that incubate and deploy new, best practices.
