Education and Teaching Background
I wrote my MA (Psychology) in first division with University position, Diploma in Labour Laws, Ph. D. in Management from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi and later MBA (HR) in first division.
I have about three and half decade long experience in the domains of educational administration, teaching, training, research and consultancy. Received appreciations from many quarters as well as recognitions/awards for discharging responsibilities with complete devotion, sincerity and honesty. Being an institutional builder, my focus have been on developing academic excellence of the institutions through various intervention strategies and unfurl the hidden potential of the faculty and students in the larger interest of developing a reservoir of competent human resources to meet national and global challenges.

Leadership and Moral Qualities in our Students
The Institute attempts its level best to identify, nurture and develop leadership qualities along with the moral values among students. A selected few measures being practices are listed below:
After detail discussion on ‘what’ and ‘why’ and identifying potential leadership qualities, identified students are entrusted with various responsibilities, initially under the guidance and supervision of faculty, to plan and conduct various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities (how);
Democratically nominated potential students (by the classes) are entrusted with the responsibilities of ‘Class Representative’ to facilitate faculty in effective conduct of teaching – learning process, monitoring of day to day working including disciplinary matters;
Encourage participation of students in various debates, group discussions, presentations, programs, activities, seminars, workshops, conferences organized in-house and outside; and
Regular interface with industry, subject matter experts, visiting companies and dignitaries etc.
Improve Management Education
Following suggestions may be considered by various stakeholders to improve management education in India:
First and foremost, a critical introspection i.e. SWOT analysis for developing short term and long term perspective plans and mobilizing resources accordingly;
Attracting, nurturing, promoting, protecting and retaining ‘talent’ at all levels so as to have a reservoir of talent to deliver the best and meet and man challenges nationally and globally (sound HR policies);
Continuously built and strengthen the basic foundations of academic excellence and adequate focus on effective and efficient administration and societal outreach;
Treat students as ‘ambassadors of goodwill’ and deliver quality and thus helping and empowering them in realizing their dreams;
Conduct various capability building interventions at all levels and at various platforms;
Adhere in letter and spirit with the mandate of the various regulatory authorities and ensure timely compliance of various statutory requirements;
Family Background
I have two daughters, who have completed their post graduation in Management discipline and presently working on their doctoral dissertations. Elder one is serving as Asst. Professor in a leading B-School and younger one was till recently serving in managerial position in HR domain. We have co-authored many research papers and plan to offer consultancy to institutions in attaining excellence and develop a niche for themselves. My wife if a home maker and is one of the best managers I ever met in my life.
