Since start of my life I used to admire people and keep a goal target to become like one..but finally I came across my Guru who has been the most influential person in my life and changed completly my thought process.He taught me that instead of setting goals by seeing others ; I myself has lot of capabilities of becoming a unique person whom others would like and become one of.

Important career decisions

Joining Team Computers as TeamLeader- BI was one of the important decision which changed my thought process completly from development to analytics. This job actually made me realize that I had an invisible skill of handling customers and resources very well.After few years shifting from IT to Non-IT that too Diagnstics was again a big decision for me and indeed a learning process. Finally this all helped me in getting the current position of Asst. VP - IT and tremendous motivation to drive the India IT operations for my organization.

Tech Management matters more on

Tech managers are always driven more towards technology and delivery of that technology within timelines. In managerial role they should have the art of getting things done through and within the frmally organized group.Planning,Organizing,Directing and Coordinating should be the criteria.

Ensuring Growth

As per me growth is dependent on learning so I try my best to learn new things each day, which can be through reading, through talking to others or listening to others and implementing the learning's in my life and as per Leader I believe in sharing all my experiences with others so that it can be good learning process for others as well.

My views on India Technical development

What we are lacking is the R&D , we are not spending much in the R&D so no new tech products are coming up. Surely Govt. or large investors should start thinking and spend in this direction and we can do wonders.

Family background

My dad is a retired Bank Officer and Mom is a teacher. I have a younger brother who is also into banking operations. Since start my dad created environment which tilted my mind towards studies and achieve good position in acacdemics. Mom has always taught how to be a part of joint family and bro has always been my first hero. After marriage there's been lot of support from my husband and mother in law which encouraged me to grow further in life.His taking care of 50% of household work helped me in balancing my work-home life. My kiddo my son changed my life completly, just a 4 year kid gives me energy to grow more towards success ladder. he has started taking his good care and shares small small works at home. Finally the person who although was not a family but now more than a family member and supported the most in my life is my Guru. He brings in so much positive energy that helps me in keeping my eye just on my target.Thanks to my Sai for such a sweet family and support always.

Managing personal and professional life

My eye is always on my target and I believe when you are focussed completly on your goal then chances of making mistakes is less. Both in profession and well as personal relation,the only factor that works is to foresee the future and work for present with 100% passion. I believe and always preach that whatever we do and wherever we are that should be with 100% dedication.

Awards and Recognitions

My last organization received Best IT Innovation Award for the integration of Document Management System with Axapta in a unique fashion.Current organization we were the first implementers for ERP- Ax2012 in India and our case study for same has been publshed on Microsoft site.

Handling Grievances

What I think as a leader is that the best way to handle any grievances is to first listen them. Active listening actually gives solutions to half of the problems.

Leadership qualities

I surely agree that being a leader is not an easy task but one can be successful leader if he/she possess these skills: One should be a good communicator,one should be open minded to consider all options while making decisions,should be a good delegator and delegate tasks to people around in best manner and should be confident enough in taking right decisions.

Current Job description

I am heading IT department of Healthcare sector for RJ Group. Currently employed with Cryobanks International and take care of all India IT operations.

My advice

The only advice is its easy to become a manager but difficult to become a leader. Always understand the difference between the two and success is yours.

Excellence in Management

When I joined Cryobanks they were having no IT department but a single person managing networks. My contribution to system has been streamlining the hardware, applications and the network of organization. As on date we have started working in a secure environment; on automated systems which was totally on excel 1 year back

Team Management

Work on 1 goal...Togeather Everyone Achieves More...My team have always been 1 team wherein differences can come but everyone shares the same and resolve. As we are in a service industry so to serve best and in right manner united we can approach in right direction.
