Job Profile:
I am CEO of Dunatos Learning Inc located in Bangalore. I take care of conceptualizing, designing, and delivery of training programmes for IT / ITES organizations.
Growth Strategy:
I continuously work to improve my skills, read, read and read. Adopt to best practices which I come to know from Silicon Daily dose subscription, listen carefully to market leaders and try to analyze myself and believe in perpetual improvement...
The Journey So Far:
I started my career as a trainer with NIIT Ltd. way back in 1989. In 1995 I decided to start something on my own, and after quitting my job I was hired as a consultant to Income Tax Department to look after their IT infrastructure, then I moved to Hyderabad and then to Bangalore as freelance trainer
Role Model:
Bill Gates, because, he taught the industry that whatever, your competitors say and think about you & your company can be proven wrong with determination and perseverance..
Changes In The Professional Environment:
Quite a lot for both good and bad! People are more open to new ideas, they are understanding the need of a good training, on the other side I feel they are becoming less and less sensitive towards ethical practices and running after the numbers rather than quality..
Required Reading:
Read Road Ahead by Bill Gates, Awaken the Giant within you by Tony Robinns, autobiography by Lee Iacocca, The making of IBM by Thomas Watson Jr., Time Magazine, Sunny Days by Sunil Gavaskar, Open by Andre Agassi..
Prized Accomplishment(s):
None so far .. yet to accomplish more and more.. I don't look back and admire my achievements.. so for me each successful & satisfactory training program I deliver is an achievement ..
Advice For New Professionals:
Don't have inertia for learning, Never Stop Learning, Sit down every 3 months with your resume and find out what value addition you have done to it, if not chalk out a workable plan, how are you going to do it.
Other Thoughts:
Don't assume things about your ability!
Working Life Management:
When I am at work I give 100% when I am with my friends, family I give 100%. I don't carry work to home.. I love to cook whenever I am stressed ..
Family Background
We are 5 brothers and sisters, and now I am married and have 12 year daughter, I come from Hindi heartland, Madhya Pradesh, my entire education was done in Hindi medium, my father was always posted in small villages / township, so had disturbed education..
