Brief description about me
Me: I started my career with Network solution, its an IBM company as TECHNICAL SUPPORT EXECUTIVE. As far as my academy is concerned I did my graduation in science and after that I came down to Bangalore to do CCNA. As soon as I completed my certification in that I got an offer in Network Solution. There I worked as a NOC engineer. After 8 months I had to leave the company due to personal reason and after 5 months of idle sitting I got an offer to work with LnT Infotech and facility Management Engineer, Pune.
It was again a new experience for me as I never worked on servers. I learnt a lot there and did my Microsoft certification and became MCSA.
After serving a yeas there I got another opportunity in Siemens (Kolkata) in another new technology VOICE. There we got basic training on voice technology precisely on EPABX.
We worked as a L2 engineer and provide solution to every incident. Our responsibility revolves around Incident, Problem and Change management.
There, after 3 years I became the trainer and the SME (subject matter Expert).
We are providing support to all over the globe but specially to UK and Germany.
During this tenure I have completed ITIL V3 foundation and two Siemens Certification  knows as SOCA.

Challenges in job
ME: In my current job every day we face challenges as you don’t know what is the resolution of the issue. In our day to day job we face new problems and new challenges from the customers. The deadlines, the demand to resolve the issue, sometimes customer does not want to listen anything and want to resolve his issue. The matter of fact is we should know the product in and out then only we can provide resolution. The other challenge which I think is new technology and up gradation of the older one. One needs to be updated if ones need to survive in the market. This job has given me confidence, ability to think, and ability to analyses. These all attributes of mine are surely helping me in my personal life. This job also gave me confidence which I think is so important in your life, personal or professional.

Job made easy
ME: Knowledge of the product, The training, guidance from my next level of support and of course my colleagues.

Upcoming Trends
Thechnology is changing very fast. When I started my career in simens it was TDM, ANALOG, ISDN phones were there, now its VoIP, SIP and may be tomorrow something new will come.
Now Microsoft LYNC will rule the market in coming years. It has already started to grow and it will take the market for sure.

My point of view
It’s still a question to me as well.  If we see we are very good at service support. In fact this are few Indian companies listed in top ten revenue generator for the last year. It could be lack of risk taking or lack of confidence on their own product.

My goals
I would like to see myself as a Technical Lead in coming years. I would like to build my career on technical ground as I have good interpersonal , communication and managerial skills, will see myself as a leader.

family background
I hailed from a middle class family. My dad was working in a still plant as a Senior Operator. My mom is a house wife. My elder brother works in Indian Railways and my sister is married and a housewife too.

Advice to professionals
I believe, todays generation is very clear about their goals. They know what to do and what not to do. One advice I would like to share, when you start your career accept the challenges. Please do not think its of no use, no this is not my kind of job. The important this is if you are in the tech field then enhance the skill as much as you can. Please do not change technology every now and then. Stick to a company for a longer period (atleast for 1 year) and learn as much as you can.

Advice to students
To be very honest when I did my college I had no clue what would I do after college. As the town is small and these things are still far way from that. Now people are aware what is networking, what they should do. Form my experience I can suggest have some technical knowledge. The reason being, our education system is very traditional and it wont help us if we don’t go for higher studies. If you want to excel in life and you don’t want to go for engineering or medicals then enhance your technical skills.
Another important thing is Communication Skills. This is the need of today’s world. This is medium thru which someone could xpress himself.
