Describe your struggle of achieving success
Simple, when you have to say NO, say NO to it, don't say YES for any reason. My educational background is Technical, I am a MCA graduate. But I have grown from just a Business Development executive - who typically leverage every tool that helps to generate LEAD to this level with a passion to succeed in Sales role. My message to the people out there is, Have some aspiration in life - could it be personal or professional, but try to relate it to your daily activity and keep watching it carefully. Don't just do your work because someone has asked you to do. Enjoy your Job in every step of your professional career
Different from others
Business intelligence is like a wikipedia - it gives you a lot of intelligence about the prospect you are Chasing. Working without a business Intelligence report is like meeting a prospect without an Agenda. In other words, just throwing the stone in the dark
Role of BI
I would like to say, as important as blood for a human body. You can't move your cards rightly without intelligence.
Comparison of current work from previous one
As I mentioned earlier, Currently I handle Large Strategic BFSI accounts for my current employer. I am preveliged to handle such large accounts which are part of the strategic growth path for my current employer. I am doing this Job because, it gives me lot of pride when I talk to CXOs, Heads, VPs Directors at these Global TOP BFSI organizations and being part of the team that builds and pushes my employer to newer growth path.
Decision taken
The most important decision I took in my professional career is to retain myself in the Sales profile. Since I come from Technology background, I am an MCA graduate, initially I have undergone a lot of criticism from my peers, friends about my decision to choose sales profile. But I Know I am sailing in the right path which is close to my heart
New trend
Today irrespective of domain, companies are embracing technology as part of their Go to market strategy. Technologies / solutions like Customer Experience, Digitalization, Cloud, Mobility etc would excel and huge investment will happen across the globe. This would give an opportunity for technology sales professionals to go every corner of the world.
Important Decisions
I haven't changed companies for money, but for learning and knowledge gain. This helps me to give a tough stand to any situation to handle smoothly and tweaking it towards my favour. While I hate advising people, but my message is, don't try to grow fast, GROW slowly and steadily so that even if you fall, you can come back quickly
Learning, Politeness, Patience, Courteousness and Deligent are the words that would echo in my ears for a life-time. It is tough to follow these principles in life on every day basis, though
