The Journey So Far:
I have no experience in the corporate world.
Done Differently:
Nothing
Advice For New Professionals:
Be patient initially and then only shift jobs.Normally adjusting to one's bosses is difficult but telling truth always helps.
Degrees That Matter:
No
Job Profile:
I help mostly families who are interested in getting treatment in Bangalore for mental illness by giving information.I also strongly advocate with Government, press etc about issues related to Psycho social disability.
Career Profile:
It is a single man organisation and so I am responsible for myself. This is completely different from my earlier role as flight examiner of government of INDIA and also as a line pilot
Growth Strategy:
Telling truth to anyone in their face is the most important attribute as a leader one must have.I have to do that when one advocates with Government officials or NGOs
The Decisions That Matter
Volunteering for flying from a role of intelligence officer.
Prized Accomplishment(s):
1.Training some pilots when I myself was not trained to do that but by sheer common sense.
2.Saving two suicide attemptees who mistakenly called me for help from going ahead.
Other Thoughts:
I missed out on the power of internet during my days due to negligence and one must always be open to new technology
Role Model:
Dale Carneggie and his books were an inspiration. I also admire Presient Abdul Kalam who is from my school and college but senior for his humane approach to things
Changes In The Professional Environment:
Nothing much has changed
