Brief description about me
Myself Tanweer Imam, MBA in Operation Management from SMU and having 15+ years of experience (13+ in GIS...core domain). I started my carrer as a Faculty at NIIT, Aptech & IIS infotech and then moved into GIS. My GIS carrier has been started with CE Info systems (Currently known as Mapmyindia), Lepton software (Currently known as Leptonmaps), SGS Infotech, Dimension India and now at HCL.
Currently I am managing 29 towns at Purvanchal Discom of UP (PuVVNL) as a GIS Discom manager.

Thoughts on Education system of our country
As a developed country a revision is required and every year there must be change (addition/modification) in the courses just to ensure proper feeding of the current technology.
A kind of survey must be done to collect different ideas and suggestions to incorporate the same.
